시아 코인 주간 개발 업데이트 소식이 디스코드에 올라왔네요. 원문이 시아 블로그나 다른데 있을 것도 같은데.. 찾질 못하겠네요. 가능하면 링크 남기거나 하는 게 좋을 것 같은데.. 디스코드에만 올리는 건지 아직은 찾질 못하겠습니다. 여하튼 시아 코인 홀더 님들을 위해서 시아 개발사에 열심히 일하고 있다는 소식 전해 봅니다.
먼저 시아UI 버전이 1.4.0으로 업데이트되었다는 소식이 포함되어 있고요. 이미 다른 블로그 등지에서 열심히 소개하고 있네요. 다음 1.4.1 버전에서는 시드(seed) 스냅숏 복구 기능을 제공할 거라고 하는데.. 개념이 생소해서 다른 암호화폐 지갑에서 종종 보던 그 시드 말하는 게 아닌가 싶습니다.
코드 부분에서 10가지 정도 개선안을 수정했다는거 같고요.
그리고 시아 지지 하시는 분들 중에서 아실런가 모르겠는데 시아 펀드(Siafunds) 소식도 있네요. 그냥 쉽게 말해서 시아 배당주 같은 거인데요. 시아 클라우드 서비스 이용 금액 중에서 일정 부분이 시아 펀드 소유자들에게 나눠지고 있습니다. 개인적으로 관심 있어서 보긴 봤었는데.. 제 기억이 정확하진 않지만 초창기 시아 펀드 구매는 한국인은 구매할 수 없었던 것으로 기억되는데.. 정확하진 않아요... 지금은 아마 P2P 거래를 통해서 구할 수 있긴 할 거예요. 거래량이 없어서 그렇지.. 한창 불장일 때는 시아 코인 가격만큼이나 꽤 비싸서 엄두 내지 못했던 기억이 나네요...
여하튼 고점에 물리신 분들은 속이 좀 쓰리긴 하겠지만, 시아 코인 가격과는 별개로 개인적으로 참 좋게 보고 있긴 하네요.

Release Progress: 1.4.1
The big development news this week is that the team has formally begun the design phase for seed-based snapshot recovery! This is an excellent indicator that true seed-based file recovery will be released in version 1.4.1. You can follow along with the proposal here: https://gitlab.com/NebulousLabs/Sia/issues/3497
The Sia team is also improving several aspects of the Sia upload code, and adding additional functionality to the siac command line utility. Other News - Duplicati is testing new code to better secure the Sia-Duplicati communication with an API password. Users of Duplicati can test the changes in Duplicati v2.0.4.16 or newer. - The Token Sale Offering was exactly 1 year ago, if you purchased any Siafunds during the TSO you can expect them to be delivered in the next few weeks. - Minio no longer supports Sia as a backend storage provider. Minio has removed the integration code from their product.
Stats - 10 Merge requests were merged into the Sia repository this week.
